Xlear Inc., American Fork, UT, has developed Lite&Sweet, a natural sweetener that contains zero grams of net carbs and only 3 calories per teaspoon. Lite&Sweet provides a blend of 100% pure xylitol and erythritol, without any flow-agents, fillers, or additives.  Xlear said that Lite&Sweet could substitute sugar in practically any recipe without the bitter aftertaste that is often associated with other artificial zero-calorie sweeteners.
